Airtable vs. Asana are both project management, task management, and team collaboration tools launched in San Francisco, California in the early 2000s.

Founded in 2012, Airtable is a collaborative software platform that operates like a “spreadsheet-database hybrid.”  Airtable is a powerful spreadsheet (think: Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) powered by a database.

Asana on the other hand, founded in 2008 by a Facebook co-founder and ex-Google engineer, was built to make it easier for teams to organize and track their day-to-day work and long-term projects. The software helps to empower teams to “do great things together,” and  track their work.
