What does WFH mean to you? PJ’s all day? Constant confusion over what time/day/month it is? Yeah, us too.
But there are two tools that have been our saving grace: staging-mondaycomblog.kinsta.cloud (duh) and Slack. Each tool is crucial for operating a smooth remote team and serves a unique purpose.
We love Slack for messages with individuals or small groups in order to:
- Get the answer to a quick question
- Fill in small gaps holding you back from completing a project
- Office chit-chat
For us, staging-mondaycomblog.kinsta.cloud acts as the infrastructure for our workflows. That means we rely on our monday boards for things like:
- Keeping everyone aligned for all kinds of work, projects and processes— from laying out the timeline for everyone involved to assigning ownership to tasks so everyone knows who to reach out to
- Collecting important information and assets in one easy-to-access place
- Gaining insights on our team’s work and improving workflow efficiencies
The key to the perfect remote workflow is making sure the small alignments and chit-chat are not isolated from your project framework. In order to make this possible, we are excited to announce a new integration with Slack! You can now create new items in staging-mondaycomblog.kinsta.cloud straight from Slack!
It looks a little something like this:
Use the shortcut button to the left of your chat or just type /monday to create an item in any board straight from Slack!
That means you don’t risk losing your train of thought moving from one platform to another, you can sync your two kinds of workflows (small tasks/syncs and the rest of your work) so they work together, not against each other.
But we all know projects don’t end once they’ve been laid out. Staying in the know with changes and updates on ongoing projects is just as important as making sure it’s organized from the get-go. To make that possible, you can also receive Slack notifications on any item on your monday board to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Running any successful project (especially when working remotely) requires a clear and organized setup, transparency, and ongoing updates. We’re here to make that happen!
